I'm new

Tue, 04/25/2006 - 04:39
Hi. My name is Allison. I've had epilepsy since the age of 9. I'm now 42. I have myoclonic and partial seizures. I am for the most part controlled except for extremes in temperatures or stress. My question is this, does epilepsy affect the memory or does the medications? I'm taking Dilantin and Clonopin. I'm also having problems with hair loss. Thank you.

Hi there and welcome to my.epilepsy.com! Feel free to put out questions anytime to the community. From time to time, myself or the editor of epilepsy.com may respond to general questions about resources. However, we do not moderate the threads regularly. There is a section, called Epilepsy Help, where you can send in specific questions that we respond to on a weekly basis (or as often as we can!) Click button called "Epilepsy Help" on the top right part of this page to visit this part. You can view previously answered questions as well by scrolling thru the info topics. Let us know how this works and again, welcome aboard! Epilepsy.com Resource Specialist
