Doctors Can't Diagnose Me

Mon, 03/09/2015 - 10:14

First off, I want to say I will be beyond grateful or thankful for any help / info anyone can offer. I understand that you guys can't diagnose me, but any help with someone having similar experiences or possible therioes of what this could be would be greatly appreciated.

About when I turned 19 and graduated from high school I started having these strange phases. I honestly had them for months before I even caught on anything was happening. I'll try to describe the experience as best as possible.

  • Sometimes I'll get this indescribable feeling that I'm about to have one, so sometimes, not always, I can predict when they're about to happen
  • When it happens people have told me I just stare off into space blankly with close to no response
  • They last anywhere from 10 seconds to 5 minutes
  • I get this strange intense nauseous feeling as they're happening
  • Though I get the nauseous feeling- it's overall not a bad feeling
  • I get a déjà vu feeling
  • I lose all sense of time and direction
  • I get very confused and usually have no idea what is happening
  • It feels like I'm dreaming with my eyes open
  • Sometimes after they end I lose all memory of the experience and anything that happened right after
  • I'll have them in clusters for a week or two and maybe not have another for a month and then repeat
  • I've had up to 9 in one day before
  • Only on about 3 out of the many I've had, I got tunnel vision

I've been to multiple doctors. I've had many tests performed. But for some reason no doctor can seem to induce me, so they can't diagnose me either. The closest thing I've gotten for help is blood pressure medicine, which didn't help at all. Do these symptoms sound like a type of seizure? Or could they be something different all together? I apologize for bringing this to these forums, but I'm desperate for some type of insight to this condition. All / any help is GREATLY appreciated.

Jackson I made a post in Living with Epilepsy-Adults. The Post is called "Is this as good as it get's" but it is very much related to my experience driving. If you read this you might become aware of just what can happen to you. You seem to be willing to look at the responsibility you carry as a driver, but your frequency for driving is all your choice.
