advice needed please

hey every 1 well basically as u all probs no i am new 2 dis site n epilepsy as i sed in my other discussions but d problem i av now is different well i bin taken carbamazepine for a couple of weeks now and my fits av stopped touch wood lol but iv noticed i av a rash and was wonderin if n e of u think dis is normal side affect n if u av experienced something similar if not d same also i wanted 2 know if n e of u drink alcohol sometimes because i was wonderin if its ok 2 drink whilst on dis medication thank u tc mari

heya thanks nancy yh im on tegretol cabmazepine cant spell it lol i went doctors n he gave me some steroid cream 2 clear it i hope it does coz its annoyin lol

I've been told that drinks lower the seizure threshold, in other words heightens your chances for seizures. When you go to the doctor, please go soon! ask about the drinking too. This stuff is bad enough on it's own. We need all the facts to keep it under control. Go ask all those questions because they're important to you and your health. All the best to you,

Hey watch out for the rash. Particularly if you're on Lamictal. In any case please tell your doctor immediately. Take care of yourself! Nancy B.
