Zonisamide

Any one else noticed bizarre mood changes...and huge weight loss with Zonisamide? My 18 yo has been on Zonisamide for 4 mts and has lost 32 lbs, and absolutely "hates my guts". It seems every emotion she has is exaggerated.

Hi,My son had very bad side effects when on Zonisamide. It crept into his system slowly and he became sad, mad and anxious all the time. He was on 250 mg of Zonisamide, he also has autism. So I'm not really sure if the autism mix added to the terrible side effects. It worked great to keep seizures in check though! Best
