I have not been on these, but I'll leave you with somethings I've told everyone about me. I'll Pray for you. May I suggest talking to your doctor about a med called Lamotrging. I'm also taking VIMPACT with that, and I have the most control I've ever had. We are trying to wing off the vimpact. If that dose not work, I went a whole year without arua or seizures taking a martial arts class. It was not so much what I learned, the over 100 jumping jack, stretching, working my body at least 5 days a week. You have heard it before," use it or lose it". Exercise make sense. As soon as I stopped everything came back with in a week. Good luck, life with out seizures can be amazing, always try new things don't let it win.
My 14 yo daughter started

My 14 yo daughter started this drug (also called Fycompa) several months ago, working up to a 6 mg dose. And she is also on levetiracetam and oxcarbamazapine. Over the last 6 weeks we have had good results: her tonic clonic seizures have been eliminated, and she has had only partials of 2 minutes or less, with most of them less than 30 seconds. We are hoping this pattern holds. As was the case before the fycompa, she gets seizures every 2 or 3 weeks. The one side effect is that the 6mg of Fycompa make her very drowsy, so she only takes it at night. That does seem to help her get a terrific sleep nonetheless! Hope it works well for you.

Hi, I have been on Perampanel for past 8 weeks, alongside phenytoin and tegretol. My seizures were frequent and touchwood since I've started the perampanel I've been seizure free. I've not had any side effects from it either which is a bonus as I have side effects from every other one I'm on lol. Hope you get on ok with it
