Multi-vitamin reacting with Tegretol

Hi, has anyone ever had their multi-vitamin effect their seizure meds - specifically Tegretol CR? I have been on Tegretol CR 1600mg/daily for 25 years and I recently started taking a multi-vitamin (approx 1 week ago). Since then, I have had at least one nocturnal seizure everynight since (I am more prone to temporal lobe seizures). I wake up at least once in the middle of the night, heart beating fast, hyperventalating, can't sit up or move. They really scare me and when its over, I'm completely drained. Since the start of my taking the multi-vitamin coincides with this type of seizure (which I rarely have), I'm beginning to suspect the multi-vitamin. Has anyone had this type of experience with a multi-vitamin or any OTC vitamins, minerals? Thanks!

Do keep me updated on this .. my child has been on multi vitamins for years and so has her seizures. I have looked all the possible drug interactions but never considered this hence a possibility. Will also look into this myself as well
