Lamictal - switch to generic lamotrigine?

Hi, everybody. I just joined this site yesterday. I saw a forum where a few people were discussing transitioning to generic lamotrigine (just released) from Lamictol. But now I can't seem to find the forum. I'm considering the generic switch and am wondering if anyone's done it yet, gotten advice on it, etc. Please help! (Or let me know where to find yesterday's forum! It's not coming up in the search.)

Hi I just recently had a packaging of lamotrigine accord but I just wanted to is it the same to lamotrigine lamictal.

I suppose you could call this a follow up question.  Many here say that it doesn't work.  However most here talk about switching cold turkey.  Has anyone tried to slowly titrate down off of Lamictal and then up to Lamotrogine?  Say, switching one pill at a time (I take four 200mg a day with a generic Topomax chaser) rather than all at once?.

Hi all I have been on lamictal and eplim for a number and it has generally worked well. However two weeks they changed the supplier and over the past week I have had increasing episodes of black outs. I am therefore contacting my GP to get this changed
