Lamictal memory loss

Fri, 06/23/2017 - 16:34
Not much to say here really. I'm on 400 mg of lamictal daily for about 5 years now. It has worked wonders with stopping my seizures, but, it has taken away my memory. Does anyone know if they are retrievable? As in if I were to switch to another medication, would there be any chance of having my memories again? Or, does lamictal essentially delete them. I can barely remember my teenage years or my childhood, but it's more than that, like forgetting what I was told ten minutes later, which is terribly saddening.
