keppra withdrawal

Hi
I am in the process of withdrawing keppra and nothing to introduce. I am just curious if there is anyone on this site who has already done been through it and what sort of side effects did they have during the process?

Hi Teri, How are you doing? I came off the keppra slowly myself like you. I was mot introducing anything either, I was simply lowering my med counts. I was on 3 meds at the time and was dropping down to 2 meds. Keppra was the med to come off. I am now on Tegretol retard and topamax. I had no side effects from coming of the keppra. Topamax has been a great help to me and there was no need for keppra to be taken as well. I was expecting maybe more seizures as I reduced the keppra but from what I can remember I dont think that happened because I felt comfortable with tegretol and topamax, other than my ususal CPS I get weekly but they didn't increase because of keppra withdrawn.
