Going off Dilantin soon

Since October Ive been taking 300mg of Dilantin per day. Last month I started Lamictal. I am now taking 200mg of Lamictal daily and 300mg Dilantin daily. As of Saturday, Im going to start lowering my Diilantin dose to 200mg and so on, and I should be done with Dilantin on the 24th.
Tell me... will anything happen to me when I stop the Dilantin? Anything I should worry about?

hey pixiedust I am in the middle of switching from dilantin to lamictal as well. I was on 400mg/day of dilantin and I had slowly increased my lamictal to 125 mg and increase it to 150mg/day non thursday. I had started to decrease dilantin and last night I was down to 1 pill of dilantin. Last night I had a seizure which totally sucked so I hope that if i increase lamictal it will be ok. Everyone differs when it comes to drugs so hopefully you don't have a seizure. It also depends what type of seizures you get. I hope your decrease of dilantin goes well
