Epilepsy & Depressent Medication

I believe I read somewhere that Anti D medication should not be used in people with E. My son's Psychaitrist wants to start him on Ant D medication but wasnt sure about the impact it would have on seizures... (another so called specialist that wants me to do the research)
Son currently takes 1200mgs of Tegretol.

i am begaining to see a realation between epi & depresion. i have gone off my meds and started Gaba,DMG,B12,& folic acid. i also take stress tab high in selinium & calcium. for my depression i take st johns wort. im doing ok. im doing a study of the benifits of L-DOPA. it has been used for epi with benfits in some cases and few side effects.

I THINK YOU NEED TO SEEK OUT A SECOND PROFESSIONAL OPINION. I SAY THAT BECUZ MY DR EXPLAINED TO ME THAT ONE OF THE REASONS I MIGHT HAVE STILL BEEN HAVING SEIZURES WHILE ON TEGRETOL AND LAMICTAL IS BECUZ ITS NOT A GOOD MIXER. WHEN TAKEN WITH OTHER DRUGS IT EITHER LESSEN THE EFFECT OF THE OTHER DRUG OR VICE VERSA.. GOOD LUCK!!
