Great questions! Loss of sex drive can occur with some of the medications, but also may be related to effects of seizures on hormones and/or areas of the brain controlling sexual drive. Take alook at some of the content on home page related to women's issues -unfortunately we need to update some for the men! Also the Epilepsy Foundation has info on sexuality. I'll list some links at the end. RE bone health - some seizure meds can affect bone health - and contribute to thinning of the bones or what is known as osteoporosis. This can affect men and women. We don't have all the answers yet, but some of the meds that are known as 'enzyme inducers' can be problematic. Always a wise idea to bring these questions to the doctor treating the seizures and ask if this is concern for you, what tests may be helpful, what can be done to prevent problems (lifestyle issues such diet and exercise as well as role of vitamins and medications). Here's a few links to articles about sexuality and bone health. There is more to search on, but hope this will give you a start..
