Hi bevs I am so sorry to hear you are having a rough time weaning off your eppillim chrono at the moment. Just keep thinking it's not really me and it's the withdrawal of eppillim making me feel this way. You will get better once the eppillim removes from your system. From reading by what you have explained to me I think the extra seizures you are having are from you withdrawing too much of a dosage of the eppillim too soon due to the fact your whole system is trying to adjust to the lowering amount. It wouldn't be the clobazam unless you are withdrawing the dosage of that too. I have never had seizures yet while being on the clobazam. I only seem to get my seizures when I withdraw the clobazam each month at the end of my period. Once I explained to my neurologist what was happening to me each month when withdrawing the clobazam then he lowered my dosage. I used to have to withdraw all of my clobazam each month whereas now I only withdraw in the morning and always take the tablet at night. What you should do is definately go and see your doctor and explain to them the side effects your getting from weaning off your eppillim. He may lower it for you then or explain it to the doctor when you go to the hospital next Monday for your sleep deprivation eeg. Good Luck for Monday at the hospital. I hope you feel better really soon. Please let me know how you get on with things. Teri

I take clobazam on an occasional basis. Around the beginning of my periods for three days in the evenings. They make me very tired but I don't have problems stopping them, so the likelihood is that you might be having withdrawal seizures of eiplim (withdrawal too quickly). I also use them when I have a seizure warning, almost like taking a pain killer when you feel a headache starting. They stop any impending seizures. To me they are worth their weight in gold. HelenB
