Is anyone taking Topomax and Lamictal?

Mon, 09/25/2006 - 23:18
Hi - I'm currenty taking Topomax without real good control for my complex partial sz's. I've also had some bad secondary generalizations resulting in some broken bones so she's wanting to add Lamictal now. Has anyone tried this combination? I've just been diagnosed a couple of months and have only been on the Topomax. I'm currently on 400mg twice a day. She's telling me that's as high as we can go. My E is due to a head injury. Thanx.

I have two girls 10 and 8 with E and they have our 10 year old on 200mg lamictal x-daily and 15mg topomax 2 times daily and we have seen great improvement she doesn't seem to have any big side effects and she is also having less migraines, they are trying my 8 year old on keppra so hopefully we see good results from that as well, have you ever tried keppra? wish you the best and hope it keeps working for you
