topamax and weight loss

Has anyone or have someone that experienced that Topamax side effects include weight loss. If so, is there anything being done to gain weight. My Alexia, 16 is underweight and is being teased at school. She weighs 93 pounds (called aneorxia) and I am reassuring her that she is just fine and it is one of the side effects.

Am One of the happiest man on earth since my son was cured from the problem of seizure,which he has been having for eight years now,he do have the attack two to three times a week,which is affecting is education and his life.i got the contact of a doctor from the post of one Mr paul thanking him for curing his seizure problem,i got the contact and contacted him then he made me to know that the medication is a permanent cure, and that was how i got the medication which i used on my son,and for six month now there have been no sign of seizure in him again.any one with such problem can contact him on his email drwilliams098675@gmail.com

I lost weight on tompomax, lost taste and had strange sensations in my hands and feet. I had difficult time concentrating/memory and mood swings involving anger and crying. I got sick of the side effects and came off of it after like 8 months or so. I could not live with the side effects. I was not getting seizures.
The weight issue was not one for me, it was the mood swings I would get. Once coming off of this one, I was fine. I returned to regular eating and mood quickly.
I just did not feel like eating, plus I felt my adrenaline levels were raised and I felt active and wanting to do things.

i have just started on the tablets 50 mg twice a day and have been eating like crazy!!! Any suggestions??? I am 5'3" 130lbs and do not want to gain any more!
