Seizures do bring on hallucinations some people. It's happened to me. An AED also caused hallucinations for me. Every person is unique. We each respond differently to our seizures and AEDs. Is she being seen by an epileptologist? She's certainly not crazy. It happens to some of us.

I take keppra for my juvenile myoclonic epilepsy and an uncommon side effect is hallucinations.
