My daughter is 9 just diagnosed with absent seiures E and waiting for medication, she has not been on any meds so far. Does valporic Acid cause weight gain or any other major side effects. Hope to get answers Thanks Tre

i'm on keppra. When i was on depakote i think i was seeing things like little bunnies in the air and invisible steps on the floor or invisible doors that i would stumble upon. My doctor switched me immediately. There is dilantin which makes your gums swell up, but other than that, i've not heard of any major side affects. Can anyone correct me? *****Keep your heart one step ahead of your brain****
