hey, i'm a teen here. I read your comment. I have experienced seizures since i was a year old. I'm eighteen now and i hate them. I've tried at least twenty three medications and none of them have worked. I also have the VNS therapy thing...or whatever....and it helps sometimes. My medications are so expensive. Right now i'm taking Lamictol and Keppra. What do you take? *****Keep your heart one step ahead of your brain****

I started having seizures in 2005. I'm 19 and going to graduate high school this May. Missed the 2nd semester of my junior year due to being in the hospital for 3 months. I have refractory seizures already on 6th different med and have the VNS. My seizures occur every 3 to 4 days. Im taking Keppra, Lyrica and Lamictal. Been on dilatin, trileptal, depakote didnt help. I hate E it has truly changed my life. So glad to have found this site. Glad to be able to chat with other teens about E.
