my short term memory is shot. i am seeing a neuropsychologist that is doing mind games with me to improve it. i just started so i dont know if it will work, but i will let you know. the epilepsy foundation helped me find this. maybe you can look into something like this.

Regarding the Yale Childhood Absence Epilepsy Study (ages 6-18) mentioned above, my guess is that the fMRI may not show what Yale hopes it can. This is based on a 2009 MRI study.
