Those top ten memory thingys

I just read it. It's me. I'm doing what my doctor says, but does it get better? I'm really new to this stuff. I've just recently been diagnosed. I'm trying not to freak out here. But, I'm not a "sick" person. Will the memory stuff get better as the Rx kicks in? Please say yes. I feel screwed.

Hey Island Fever, I have had seizures since I was 19 months old. I lost speech and use to replace certain sounds with other sounds. Like for example; th was f, g was d, k was t, and h was silent. So my Grandma was Damma, My sister Heather was Heafer, Kitty was Titty, and Honey was oney. I got my speech back by going to speech therapy when I was 3 until I was in first grade. It sucked but I can talk right now. I also had balancing tests done, and also it through off my reading level, math level, and most of my learning level. I regained those by doing more of the worksheets and reading out loud to mom or grandma. So if you think you had it bad.............my mom and I now laugh about it because I was "wired backwards" for 4 years. Now I have them under control and love my life even though I use a little more precaution than everyone else. I hope I helped you out some how!! I really would just like to add, if your not trying it already, give the omega3 ago for your memory. Theres comments on the complementary therapy page. I started giving it a go about 6 weeks a go and am sure its doing some good. Best wishes. Bex
