my sister told me, it was on her prescription bottle actually. which is a bit concerning since when i was on it, no one told me. but i think it just breaks down the seizure meds quicker so there maybe drops in your levels and then maybe seizures would occur... although i'm fairly certain that i drank it on occassion when i was tegertol with no noticed side effects. but i'm sure there is that warning for a reason. good luck. i use my "the pill book" often for more info on side effects.

more on the pain killers:  i have taken ibuprophen, tylenol, loritab (percoset), and even morphine (plus some i can't remember the names of.)  while on lamictal with no problems.  (don't worry i didn't take them all at once)

FDA just approved generic

FDA just approved generic Lacosamide. If you fax script and new patient form then you'd get 3 months for price of 2 weeks meds. FDA says it is not concerned with non scheduled drugs coming from Canada. They also guarantee drugs are made in Canada. (Great way to save on those pricey heartworm pet pills)Check with manufacturerof drug for discounts based on need.Goodrx.com always has great coupons and shows prices for pharmacy who accepts them. All biggies do. Can't say enough good things about them. Coupon can sometimes be used with insurance on brands with no generic. There are number of pharmacy price cher sites. If your copay is that high on brand names this might find you  cheaper pharmacy in US.Check US mail order companies also. And if you go to same pharmacy always ask about membership discount. Can save $.Write fda and let them know company is holding back generic from pharmacies. (They fought hard to keep it from going generic.)Hope that helps Good luck.Amazing when insurance doesn't insure.
