Nocturnal Seizures / Night seizures
Wed, 09/30/2009 - 19:45Hello, My name is Danny I am 27 and have been dealing with seizures since 2004. Never before that date have i had one sigh of seizures. it has been one of the worst and hardest battles i have been dealing with also. one questions i have is that the seizures i have are weird, starting like this all the seizures i have had to this day were at night after i had woken up from sleeping, i would wake up have to pee and in a sweat which is weird. also i have never had any during the day but i have had several grand mal seizures at night like i said. so if anyones has any ideas why this happens please let me know and hope all of you are doing better with your epilepsy.

With how serious my seizures are I recently went in for a 7 day study ( where u are hooked up to the eeg and stuff) once they saw me have my seizure and all the testing was done they explained to me that it is becoming more common for them to happen at night and since my seizure trigger is stress when I go to sleep all the stress from that day releases from your body and triggers a seizure. They told me I have to have brain sergury it is too life risking and no meds are working. I have been having seizure since I was 4 and am now 33. I was diagnosed with complexed parshal which is where I can start with a simple seizure but it can cluster in to grammas Just recently I started only having them at night. When I did have one my husband said I would be Turing my head like to my back like a Portuguese and kick and smack then during that same seizure I wake up and can not breath. A couple times he said my lips were blue and he had to blow in my mouth to give me air. After the seizure is over I am dizzy and can’t focus. Since I have to go pee every time after I walking to the bathroom I usually stumble and don’t remember how to open the door so he has to do it for me now.

Has anyone ever had a seizure when they were sleeping and got up and walked around the house and outside? I apparently did that but do t remember any of it. I don’t want to worry about me getting up in the am and walking into anything! Help?!
