Making Cakes and Seizures

Wed, 09/06/2006 - 16:59
I just started in the past year of learning, making and decorating cakes. I have sold a few cakes to neighbors and family. I was wondering if there is anyone who decorates cakes and still has seizures. I seem to get more anxiety when I am decorating. I love the finish product but I worry about how I am decorating the cake. Will I have a seizure during that time. I am worried about selling to people I dont know. One of my last cakes I had two seizures during the time I was doing the decorting. I was lucky that I didnt flatten it or anything like that because of the seizures. I am a bit worried now. Makes me a bit more nervous of seeking the decorating and selling process. I do sell cookies and I have no problem of doing them. I dont worry about them like I do the cakes. Does anyone sell cakes and still has seizures? take care Lisa http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/epilepsyapproach/

I don't bake cakes but I get up early every morning to bake bread for me and my daughter. I used to be apprehensive once the seizures first started, now it seem to help me relax. Maybe it's kneading the dough that makes me unwind.

Oh what a wonderful way to start the day...fresh bread in the oven! That would make me relax too.

It make it easier for my daughter to get up in the morning, when she has something to look forward to.
