Giggles

In the last few days I have seen a funny side of E, and I have never thought any of it was funny!!! We were driving in my boyfriends car. He asked me to look at the CD player and tell him the artists name of the CD playing (it shows up on the screen) .. as I wasn't feeling crash hot I intently stared at the LCD screen trying to figure out what I was looking at, and said 'Al Bum'. HAHAHAH! It actually said 'Album' as it wasn't displaying the name of the group / artist. Thanks for that giggle left temporal lobe. Today, we were in the car again .. and his car was having some issues .. and again, I wasn't feeling so fab. I was concentrating very carefully on the gears, while he was reversing and I said 'Are you in drive?' .... we both cracked up. Hmmm, yes .. in drive while reversing. Needless to say, each time I was close to or having a simple seziure when these moronic things came out of my mouth. I've never seen a funny side of E, but I now have.

Ok, what about this one??? lol. My (husband to be) and I were sitting in my church. We were up close to the back (Thank God). We always hold hands and have since we met. We were sitting in church this one Sunday and we were holding hands, and I always rest my hand on his leg. Well anyways, I went into a seizure and I started rubbing up & down his leg, grabbing on him tight, I guess I went a weee bit high and he didn't have a clue why I was doing this (this was the FIRST seizure he had seen me have) I knew that day he was my soulmate and friend because he stayed with me knowing what could happen at any given time. He now tells that story to our friends and this one time we were in a group of our friends talking about my surgery I just had and he brought up the first time he had seen me have one. When he had finished with his little story, a guy friend of ours spoke up and said "gee, I have been going to church there for 10yrs and I have never had anything like that happen to me". lol Have a great day and make sure you help someone smile. It could change their day. Cathy

LOL!! Makes you wonder what spike it is that traps that train of thought doesn't it? It is a blessing to have someone in your life that understands at a moments notice yes the brain does do that misfire and weird things can happen. I married my soulmate too. Fell head over heels the first day I laid eyes on him, have been stuck together like glue ever since. *grin* Has been the rock to keep me standing when I need the support. Thanks for the giggle and smile you gave me today! Have a great afternoon!
