my eye lids would twitch on topamax but it stopped once I was off it now I have mouth twitching lol on keppra so I wonder if it my myoclonic activity or the meds effect different nerves or different part of the brain . The mouth twitches bother me less thou than the eye lid twitches as the eye ones bothered my vision sometimes .

I have had epilepsy for 32 years now,, I will be 35 soon!!!! I have had all kinds of them... I still get them 2 nothing really helps thats for sure!!! 1 reason i say this,, is these doctors dont know what it is really like to have 1 but they try to say this and that!!!!! I have had my eye twitch lots of times,, it has not happened in awhile,, I believe for some reason it seems like it happens more when i am really tired,, Because i have never had it happen when i was sleep good!!!!

had the problem, neuro said it was more than likely some form of seizure.  could not complete rule out the meds, but did not think so.  he recommended that i take a daily vitiam.  i thought he was nuts, but tried it anyway.  i was shocked, it worked, after about two weeks it was gone.  some of the vitamins take time to get to the proper level.  if you are not taking them you may want to give it a try.  the other thing he mentioned and then kinda blew off himself was that it could be part of a long  post ictal period.  hope it helps.  rikk
