Eye twitching & seizures & Absent seizures

Fri, 01/01/2010 - 17:51
  • I was diagnosed with idopathic epilepsy a year ago . I was diagnosed after being found on kitchen floor after layign their for hours. My doctor think I may have Juvenile Absence Epilepsy however he's not sure what to call it because I'm 26. For awhile after I was diagnosed I was on Keppra however sadly I had go go off bceause I did not have the money. I am on nothing and noticed that my right eye started to twitch. Now it is increased to a daily basis to the point I can't keep count. I was wondering if maybe if this a sign I'm having a absent siezures? Anyone know if this can be or if they have it?

I was diagnosed with complex partial epileptic seizures 3 years ago and sadly I was allergic to Lamotrigine, Phenytoin and keppra, I had horrendous accumulative allergic reactions that ended in the worst rashes I've ever had,  I am now just starting cbd oil oral drops, no big changes so far, probably need to up my dose, but fearful, looking for neuro in my area who will guide and follow. But back to the topic, I've had much worse eye twitching since I stopped those meds, almost constant, my right eye

Eyelid myoclonia is what I

Eyelid myoclonia is what I have, rapid super annoying, make it impossible to continue till they stop little myoclonic seizures that affect only my eyes(though I can have them with absences, myoclonic jerks of my body and have other simple and complex partial seizures.) they usually last a minute or 2 for me and happen many tines a day but feel like forever while they're happening.
