diet pills
Mon, 05/24/2010 - 17:59Hello, I am new to epilepsy.com and i saw that they have discussion centers. I am a 20 yr old who has had epilepsy since 2000 and am taking medications that cause me to gain weight. I was wondering if any other patients who have this same problem have tried any diet supplements, such as pills or drink mixes, that have worked in relieving some of that weight gain.

I have had epilepsy for 23 years I have tried diet pills which in return I was put in the hospital from seizures but diets that worked for me in the past was weightwatchers, Isagenix although I did try Topamax for seizures and was also for headaches and weightloss I didn't experience weightloss but I did have to force myself to eat wheather I felt like it or not it didn't help with the headaches but it did cause me side affects to the medication I felt like I was constantly in a seizure but when I had my blood tested I wasn't having a seizure my doctor took me off and said it was causing me side affects and changed my medication.

ive had epilepsy since I was 13yo and I have grand-mal seizures but my dr has them under control
