can seizures be triggered by intercourse?

Tue, 05/10/2005 - 13:06
My partner has what seems to me to be a seizure immediately after we have intercourse. He is 28 and says that it has been happening for about four years now. He is fully concious when it happens but he has no control of his muscle functions, and has a hard time speaking while it is happening. I have tried looking on google and yahoo for any help but there doesn't seem to be any mention of a kind of seizure that could cuase this. If anyone has any suggestions I would be very grateful. I am apparently much more concerned than he is, and I just needed to know if I am over reacting.

I've been having seizures for

I've been having seizures for 10 years now. And it only happens in morning after ejaculation or getting close to it. That is my only trigger. Doctors found cyst somewhere close to the very center of my brain and they believe it is causing it. But only trigger is ejaculation and only in the morning. In my case I have (if you can call it) full seizure, no feeling, no memory, like I'm dead for that time the seizure is going on. When I wake up, I found that I bite my lips or tongue, and since I have injuries in both of my shoulders I have so much pain in them when I wake up. Any way, it doesn't happen very often but last too were closer then others before. I had one in 2017 August or September (not sure) and last one this morning (3.3.2018). For me seizures don't happen too often but when they do, whole day is fucked up. Strange feeling in head, some trip like I'm in another world like in a dream or something. Not sure if you should be worried about it, if your partner has seizures like me only in the morning, then try not to have sex then, just wait few hours after waking up, or even better after breakfast. Anyway, I wish you all the best in future and hope he gets better.

I went along time with having

I went along time with having them happen randomly to the point my husband was out of town a few months ago after we just had our second daughter I don’t remember anything except being in my living room an then I woke up in my bathroom up against my shower and my toilet with my 2 year old daughter pulling at my arms yelling and crying my name trying to get me up! I was so scared as I didn’t know what happened how long I was out and if my 2 week old daughter was okay. I fear everyday that something is going to happen and I’m going to leave my family behind with no warning
