Thank you Gretchen for helping me understand this.  It is true that I have had seizures alone before, I'm sure that the girl I'm seeing has had them alone also.  I think it's actually a better thing that we both have them that way we understand when the other one is having a seizure we aren't wondering what's going on or what to do because we have both been through it.  Thank you so much for helping me understand.

Funny, Chris, I actually envy you in that you are seeing someone who also has epilepsy. It's a complicated disease: memory issues, fatigue and stress (not to mention seizures.) I think that both of you are in the position to be invaluable to one another. To have someone who understands what's going on with you. That you're not: lazy, distracted and frail.

Thanks for the positive insight.  I actually like the fact now that we both have epilepsy because we both know what it is and how to treat it if one of us has a seizure.  She and I have both been protected from the outside world almost our whole lives, she has been protected way more because she didn't go to public school, and the only friends that she has are her cousins and me.  I want to have my friends become her friends also though because they have also been through my seizures and know what to do.  She is a great girl who needs to experience life, she and I both have our seizures under control to the point that we can do stuff together.  If one of us has a seizure though we know exactly what to do because we have been through it before.
