My First Seizure...I'm Scared To Death!

Hi everyone. I am new to this website and to having a seizure. I was at work (bartender) on the night before Thanksgiving and it was my first night at my new job. Everything was going good, it was kind of a quiet night. My boss (who is also a good friend) was hanging out having a few drinks and making sure everything was gonna be okay. Around 12:30 in the morning my boss said that I was going to cash register to put money in when I froze completely and then dropped to the floor and started shaking. One of the other bartenders was hanging out as well and he jumped over the bar to hold my head until the ambulance got there. What scares me the most is that the blackout happened about 5 minutes before the seizure did and lasted until I was in the emergency room at the hospital. When I did come to I was in such excruciating pain. I had dislocated both my shoulders in the fall. I am 33 years old and have NEVER had anything like this happen before. The hospital did the blood tests and a CT scan while I was there and they all came back normal. I have appointments with a neurologist and orthopedics and also to get an EEG done next week. I just hope this was a one time thing that got caused by stress or a mixture of my 2 meds that have seizures in the side effects. I will come back on and post my test results when I get em. Depending on the results I may need your guys support more then anything! Thank you for listening.
