Generic Substitution News- lots of people ask what the rules are for when a pharmacy can substitute generic medication for brand. Take a look on the home page at the listing of state-by-state rules. Please note that these can change as laws change. Some states have bills pending now. If you find that your state law or rule has changed, and it hasn't been updated here yet, please email us!

Seizure Preparedness Initiative- A new section will be added to www.epilepsy.com that we hope will add a new layer to your learning experience. Seizure preparedness offers practical info that people need to manage seizures on a daily basis and links to how to do things as well as what to do. Resources and tools will be available as well. It's being finalized now. We hope to get parts of it up and running asap and will be adding more content each month. As you review it, please email me with ideas of what you'd like to see in it. The goal is to help the people who manage seizures every day to be prepared, thus your feedback will be critical!

Adapting Plans for Summer Camp- In Seizure Preparedness, you'll find a section on Summer Camps that we hope will help parents choose, evaluate, and prepare their kids, and camp counselors, for summer camps. This will be up asap too, so check it out! If you have ideas to share with others on this, let me know.
