Info we'd like to see more of

Hi everyone, I'm staring this thread for people to add topics or questions that they would like to see more info on. For example, I responded to thread on jasmine/aromatherapy just now, and struck me that we need more info on this for the site.. Add your comments and suggestions and I'll go over it with editors.. Also, would you like to see live chats with experts in epilepsy care on the site? We're looking to this for coming year... We'll leave this thread here and anytime you have great idea, add it in! Thanks! Epilepsy.com Resource Specialist

Hello epi_help I think these are two great ideas of yours. For me and I have also read somewhere a while ago that some aromatherapy oils can make people have seizures. One of them being Rosemary because it acts has a stimulant on the brain so now I avoid it. Once as I put too much Lavender in my bath it made me have a seizure. Luckily my mum was home with me and came in to help me. Ylang Ylang there is no problem. It would definately be a brilliant idea of yours to see live chats with experts in epilepsy care on this site. In what way are you thinking of introducing it? Would we chat to them one to one or watch/read interviews on screen of a live chat? I look forward to live chats and hope we can get it off the ground. I can't think of any other ideas right now. I will have a think about it. Keep up the good work and take care. Teri

Hi, To start, we will likely do live chats where people can ask questions in real time and get responses from an expert. People will also have the ability to send in questions in advance. Eventually, we may get to video chats. Send me topics you would like to see covered - I am working on a line-up. Hope to launch these in spring! Thanks for the ideas - sounds like an alternative therapy expert would be a good one to have! Take care, Epi_help

I'd like to see a section for medical tips having to do with questions pertaining to advice to anyone who needs it, on such matters such as pulled muscles, bit tongue, swelling of an injured limb...etc. Alot of us haven't the means or ability to go to a doctor right away. Being able to print out a 'What to Do' page would help alot. Thanks! -Spiz
