Has anyone been put in a medically induced coma to counteract non stop seizures (status epilepticus)?

I was put into a medically induced coma 2 years ago when I went into status.  Although I made a full recovery, and my memory, verbal and cognitive skills are as sharp as they were, I still fill "funny."  I feel a great body self-consciousness and fear.  I can have flashbacks of my hospital stay - and I would instantly forget my train of thought.  I'm just wondering if anyone else has come from the "great beyond" of coma-land.  Will you share your recovery story?

I was having back to back

I was having back to back seizures and put into a coma for 2 days. I only remembered calling my cousin screaming my head hurts that I needed my car to go to the hospital. He was about an hr away. The next thing I remember (I was blacking out throughout this period) is calling my cousin back saying never mind I’m just gonna go to sleep. He found me seizing out on my next to my 6 month old daughter who I have no recollection of the whole time. I almost bit my tongue off, my bed was covered in blood (even when I got home) my pillow socked through. When I woke up I didn't remember anything but blackness, nothingness not like when you have a deep dreamless sleep. I just started ripping everything out, my aunt said I almost died I needed to stop I had been in the ICU for 2 days in a medically induced coma. I think I just went back to sleep after that. At the time I didn't think much of it like ok I'm good I'm alive to live on so I didn't understand why everyone was making it a big deal this is when I was diagnosed with epilepsy, I was 20 at the time. It's been 6 yrs and I haven't had any more back to back I did go to the hospital a few more time now I only get these Deja Vu seizures.
