In the February 15, 2011 issue of the Journal Neurology Dr. Steven Lomazow presents intriguing information based on historical research that he had done addressing the neurologic condition that surrounded Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Dr. Lomazow makes a compelling case for the diagnosis of epilepsy for one of America's greatest Presidents. Moreover, Dr. Lomazow presents very interesting evidence that President Roosevelt's physicians, an ENT specialist and a cardiologist, had actually participated in covering up the fact that Mr. Roosevelt may have had epilepsy.

Curiously, Mr. Roosevelt had been on phenobarbital therapy, which are part of his public record and Dr. Lomazow gives an interesting portrayal of how seizures may have afflicted American history at one of its most serious juncture points.
