VNS Therapy 101



Vagus nerve stimulation, also called VNS Therapy, is a non-medical way of helping to control seizures. While it does not work for everyone and is not a cure for epilepsy, it can help control seizures in some people. This section will address how people with an implanted VNS can use a magnet to help in seizure first aid.
