First seizure age 48

Mon, 10/03/2016 - 13:51
Hi hope someone may be able to help. Out of the blue the other day I passed out, I went to hospital and have been told it's probably a focal seizure. I will be seeing a neurologist later this week. I am due to go on a long haul flight in a weeks time and are considering cancelling the trip, it has shaken me up plus I have felt quite ill since it happened. I am otherwise very fit & healthy other than a bad neck injury which happened the day before my seizure... wondering as well if this had anything to do with it. I still feel nauseous but improving slowly.

Anybody at any age can get epilepsy. Rich poor young or old any race. When you talk to your neurologist tell him everything and what you posted in this forum. Ask them about your trip. I hope you get the assistance you needJoe
