Epilepsy, hypothyroidism and pregnancy.

Hi all,

I have juvenile myocolonic epilepsy and was recently diagnosed by a fertility specialist with hypothyrodism. My husband and I are trying to have a child. I'm just wondering if anyone has both of these conditions and how it affects your baby. If the risks are so great I'm not sure I even want to try to have one. I have been reading on the internet about all the birth defects both can cause. I'm really stressed and scared.
