The effects of Lamictal on the baby during pregnancy

Wed, 10/05/2016 - 07:49
Hello everyone! I've just discovered that I'm pregnant and I'm on Lamictal 200mg daily. I'm so excited but a bit concerned. My neurologist told me that Lamictal is the safest drug during pregnancy and that the folic acid that I'm taking will help the normal development of my baby's brain. But I'm always worried whether it will affect my baby later on in life, especially his brain development. Can mothers who were pregnant and were on Lamictal share with me their stories? Thank you!
