anxiety with seizures

Tue, 08/09/2016 - 01:52
I have had increased anxiety with seizures. They have gotten stronger in the past five years. My eeg shows no changes in location (at least the doctor didn't mention any change). Any "natural health aid" suggestions? Please help. Do seizures get stronger with age?

For me some seemed to

For me some seemed to increase  rom the time they started for the first 8-9 years. After my time in status my seizures changed. they were more like spaces in time and affected my right hand mre. Focal seizures that might generalize. after working with doc and chaecking medicatins anddosages they changed in numbers, over a shorter period of time, I will never be completely seizure free but by alqays asking questions the seizures I have today are nothing like they were 20 years ago and those were far better then th oned I had when I was a teenIt all depends on your relationship with your neurologist and how often you ask questions.Did you tell him it seems you have increased anxeity? Did you ask if a dosage change might help with that issue. For every issue I had I questiond doc. I also gave him some cookies since most of my visits were right after lunch. Oh he gave me lots of coffee.Let me put it this way we were friends as well as doctor and patient. Results can be gotten and friends to help friends. I send him an e-mail now and then since he retired. I had to find a new neurologist and he refered me to my new one. She will now get cokies if the fisit is near lunch or a loaf of bred. Yes I do back the cookies and bread I have given my doctors and their nurses.Natural health aid. the one thing I have been using is citracal or caltraite. Calcium keeps leg cramps down and the other thigns has helped too
