interferon and ribavirin caused my seizures
Thu, 01/01/2015 - 10:04Let's see if I can make a long story short......I am a Vietnam vet and like many got Hep C. Which I just got diagnosed approx 2 yrs ago. They started me on the interferon and ribavirin at the VA without completely divulging the side effects. 250 mg After completion of the treatment I developed seizures. I am on Depokote(valproic Acid 250mg per pill) I take 3 in the morning and 3 in the evening. I also take vitamin D 4,000 iu a day. I still have been having seizures approx. every 2 months for a year now. Is this normal? But what I really want to know is if Vet went thru this Interferon and ribavirin treatment from the VA and developed seizures?
