College

Tue, 09/30/2008 - 15:56
I just got accepted into my first college yesterday, WVU. i am really excited. but i've been worried for the past couple months about going away. i haven't taken a seizure in about three years and the doctor was ready to take me off my meds. me and my mom decided against it so i am still on them. but then i went on vacation to aruba and got really sick and had my first seizure in three years. i'm just nervous about it happening again. i just want to settle my fears and know i can go to college and have barely any worries. i have simple partial seizures and i know that they are triggered by stress and college is very stressful, especially away from my family. I don't wanna go to community college and my parents want me to go away and experience the college experience. i'm just nervous. is anyone else feeling like this or have you gone through this?
