The Unfortunate Truth about Epilepsy

Sun, 02/08/2015 - 11:55

I had my first seizure a little over  42 years ago and I was just 3 months old, my parents thought I was dying when I had my first Grand Mal seizure they took me to the ER and the doctors said it was fever seizures babies sometimes get them and they stop but they never stopped. So my parents took me to the regular doctor and  he said I have Epilepsy he gave my parents Phenobarbatol and I took it 11 then they gave me every medication there is to take and I am not overexagerating that is the truth I if you live to be in your 40's with Epilepsy you have to pray for a miracle drug that comes out and helps you or that you can possibly get brain surgery because I've been told I could get brain surgery 10 years ago the I hate to tell people this but it's the truth even if you are on a list my names on a I haven't had the surgery in 10 years.I've almost given up hope I truly believe unless your a child under 10 years of age don't give up hope you can get surgery by the time you graduate middle school or are in high school.
