memory loss

Sun, 09/18/2011 - 17:01
Am all ready to be scheduled for a left anterior temporal lobectomy and trying to understand the memory loss I will have and how it will affect my everyday life. Do you just have trouble recalling details, names, etc. on command ? How much of the actual content that was told you do you lose and how much do you retain?Just concerned that I wont remember ANYTHING which sounds scary!Excited to have the surgery otherwise!Any reassurance would help me right now as well as any other helpful info.   Thanks! Judy
