LTL causing problems at fast-paced, memory-intensive job?

Sat, 06/18/2011 - 21:00

Has anyone experienced problems (memory and stress) at a fast-paced, memory-intesive job as a result of a left temporal lobectory?  I had the operation done several years ago, and it has successfully stopped seizures.  However, in my work as a computer programmer it seems to have made things more difficult in general.  And after taking a position where I'm in charge of several other people and need to plan their work months in advance in addition to my own work, I believe it's made things ever harder.  Some days I've got to switch context so many times that after several hours I feel completely spent and can barely think straight.

Has anyone else had a similar problem?  If so, were you able to use any techniques to make things easier?
