Is there an end to this

Hi,

I have been having siezures for over ayear now that they have been noticed. (maybe longer unnoticed.) I crashed my wifes car into several parked cars down the street for the first serious one. I tend to zone out while driving as the noticeable symptom. My wife hollers for quite some time to get me out of it. I am told not to drive for 90 days after and they play with my medications to adjust me. This makes getting a job a bit tricky, I become a big burden on everyone by not driving. Does this ever go away or is this forever? I never know when one will come on, some are more serious, but all come on without notice. Several have set on in the alley behind our house, could this be significant?

NEED ANSWERS!!!!!

Where they come on has nothing to do with the seizure. Does the electrical impulses in your brain have anything to to with your driiving or being in the alley?  I have been having siezures for over ayear now that they have been noticed Can it go away? YES Has it gone away and come back? YES I know this because I went 3+ years without ANY seizures and had one. My cousin was and is still seizure fre, Some people get seizure free and taken off neds. Others still take meds but stay seizure free. Understand that it takes time to get medications and dosages set because it is trial and error. Each persone seizure is different, A medication and dosage that works for one person may not for the next, The reason is because each person is different. Now I do know it is difficult learning about epilepsy and learning how you need to deal with it.But learn you will or it will drive you batty. I learned how to deal with it and have been dealing with it for 50+ years. I still have seizures now and then but they are nothing like those I had when I was a teen or in my 20's. I have never driven but I did get to and from my jobs. I went to clubs with my friends. I learned I could have funs and do everything else other people do as long as I watched myself. Drinking was very little and only one at the bars. My friends thought I was drinking like they were and they would get smashed. All but one of mine were alcohol free. Only one person other then the bartender knew it.Learn how to deal with it and you will do fine. Start with research and do discuss this with your neurologist, They can help you learn more and by all means keep a good relationship with him. I have gotten more information in a phone call then morst people would know. I do hope this helps Joe
