PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! Somebody tell me I'm not being a wimp for being scared of having an MRI and a Spect Scan in two weeks. They think the brain tumor that is causing my seizures is growing.

Let me first say that I don't think it's wimpy at all! I freaked out for my closed MRI. When I say "freaked out" I mean I was soooo anxious, that I literally began to slither out of the tube and off the table and said pretty loudly, "NOPE! THIS IS NOT GOING TO WORK OUT" THey had to re=schudule the test and medicate me with Ativan. It sounds pretty scary to find out you have a brain tumor too! If I may ask (and it's okay not to answer anything I ask) what kind of tumor and where is it's location? or is that what the scans are trying to determine? Remember, you can ask your doctor for medication ahead of time. Just tell him you are stressed about it and anticipate you may have a problem. THey realize that it can be anxiety provoking for everyone. WHy put yourself through any more anxiety than need be, ya know? please let me know how the tests go and if you ever need an ear , feeel free to email me ! HANG IN THERE KID! ~pamela
