Possible seizures

Wed, 09/07/2016 - 07:34
I have been having what I will call seizure like "episodes" for at least a year if not longer. It has been steadily progressing. When it started out it felt like cold shivers so that is what I brushed it off as until I came to the realization that cold shivers never messed with my eyes which would roll and my eyelids would flutter. When it starts it is triggered by cool air regardless of the temperature inside or outside. If if the wind is cool enough and the heat is 100 degrees I will have an episode. If I am riding in a vehicle at night with the windows down I will have several episodes back to back. The aftermath will be a headache on the right side and an extreme need for a nap. Lately its starting to cause movement/jerk ingredients of both of my arms bringing them upwards as well as nausea after the episode as well. I went to see my pcp over a week ago and I did not have all of the info I have now, (I started Journaling each episode when I learned the cold shivers seemed abnormal) and he said he could think of 3 things it might be. 1. Seizures 2. Migraines 3. Narcolepsy There were also other things such as sensory hallucinations and falling asleep without being able to wake up but I think this post is long enough and it's an epilepsy website lol. Any inside is appreciated as I don't know much of seizures! I go next week for a consultation for a sleep study then that afternoon I am having an EEG and an MRI with contrast.
