Hi my name is Samantha. I have been a follower of this site for quite sometime. My husband of five years has E.
His seizures are well controlled now and have been for a couple of years, however, from what he has told me of his growing up he encountered so many problems with acceptance, medication trial and errors, not to mention the trouble with finding a dr that was on the same page.
I am trying to learn all I can about epilepsy in the hope that I can understand the trials and tribulations that go along with this disease.

Sam, Hello and welcome to the site! I hope you find the info you need and if not, just ask. The site is full of people who will try to help you find it. If you don't receive an answer right away, try posting it on a different thread. Unless the threads are all checked, yours can be unintentionally missed. A good link to take a look at is the Research Articles . This page has alot of subjects and answers to questions you may have or not thought of. I refer to it alot when trying to find answers for people. Another good info link to read is Symptoms Of Seizures . It takes you through the symtoms from what would be thought to be the before, during and after of a seizure when it is actually the whole seizure. It's interesting reading. I hope you like it here.
