My son who is 30 years old, has Down's Syndrome and is non verbal was just diagnosed with Epilepsy and is having Gran Mal seizures. I am looking for support groups in our area. We live in Chandler, AZ. I am his sole caregiver and mom. Any and all information would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

welcomeThe Epilepsy foundadtion has offices in most states an yes one is in Pheonix. The EFA has this site which has a caht and they also have a facebook accountThey also have a 24/7 help line and the number there is 1-800-332-1000. They would have or know more about the groups in your state/ There are other facebook sites So if you have a facebook account then bring up epilepsy support and you can ask questions and yes many different people have them about meds and other things. Epilepsy foundation of America has one and I think you will find one that there is a EFA of arizona
