hi my names belinda and i have suffered from temporal lobe epilisey for over10 yrs i was diagnosed at 38yrs which eas a great distress to myself and my family at the time I had a good driving job ,which of course I could not continue to do.I was put on a number of different medications, until I was prescribe epilim chrono which increased over the years to controlle the episodes.i got another job and managed very well got a bit tired at times but that was expected as i was on 1400mg per day.But unfortuantly my episodes returned with vengance about a year ago.Doctor increased tablets to 1600mg but didnt make much difference,so the neuro doctor put me on keppra with the epilim chrono upping the dose of keppa hoping to control episodes. So I seem to be back to square one or maybe worse due to more tablets and higher doses.Sometimes I wonder if the tablets are worse or better.hopefully when thee medication is sorted I may get my life back on track again and start feeling alittle bit more like myself instead of tired all the time.As any body else had any of the problems that I have been having.thankyou for taking the time to read this hope to hear from someone its great to have a web like this maybe some other questions that i have will be answered.Awaiting for results of mri scan and eeg so a bit worried until they come back clear so it may be nice to chat

Hi there Belinda, I've only been a member for 4 and a bit weeks but in that time I've made friends and found an answer to virtually any question I could possibly have thought of right in front of my eyes, there is nothing but support here so you've come to the right place. I'm also on epilim and Keppra but in larger doses (2000mg) of each plus also 20 mg of clobazam. Keppra was the missing ingredient for me and i have now been szr free for 3 years and have more energy than ever or maybe it's the load off my mind that's given me the boost. It can't be easy being diagnosed so late in life, what I mean is that when you've always had it it can be easier to deal with because you don't know any different and when you suddenly get it under control it's like a miracle happening. Anyway welcome and i hope your test results are the ones you hope for. Andy
